Although primarily known for enhancing strength and power, remarkable improvements in cardiovascular performance are achieved during and after performing acceleration training.

Research has shown that Power Plate has been found to deliver significant oxygen uptake, while lowering heart rate, blood pressure and lactic acid response.

Acceleration training has proven to be gentle and safe for training elderly /frail subjects and assisting athletes and no-exercisers alike with cardiovascular health. Although not the same as aerobic cardio respiratory training, these types of conditioning can benefit from the effects offered by acceleration training.
